Flash MP3 Player
December 2, 2005So I realize, upon reflection, that I rarely (make that never) talk about my day job. I guess because I spend so many hours a day doing it, the last thing I want to do is talk about writing code, and designing user interfaces. I always mean to talk a little bit about the tech stuff, but somehow, in the big scheme of life the latest release of the Flash player does not rock my world.
That said, I do tend to geek out more than your average Dan (Joe, has no longer consented to being called "average"). Case in point, the Flash MP3 player you see in the upper right of this window. I built it many months ago just to see if I could, and always intended to use it somewhere. I realized that it would be much cooler to be able to play all of the demos, and song ideas from one place, rather than to track them all down as links throughout my journal.
I think it's pretty easy to use, but it still may have some bugs left to squash. If you find one, drop me a note and let me know. In the mean time, enjoy the music.
