Boy Meets iPod...

March 4, 2005

So my life changed about 3 weeks ago when I got an iPod. It is an incredible thing to have all of your music in one place and portable. Being able to shuffle through 1000 songs is cooler than it sounds. I am rediscovering music that I normally would have passed over if it were on a CD floating around in the trash on the floor of my car.

In other news, Tom and I are working on a couple of new songs right now that I'm really enjoying. One is a quiet piano piece called "Break in the Clouds" and the other is a funky groove  called "Sunray". When we get demos to a more polished state, I will post them.

Dylan groovin' with my iPod...

I took Dylan to school this morning, and since we got there early, he got to spend some quality time with the iPod ---- and me of course. He is growing up so fast, somedays I just want things to stop so I can soak in everything and hold on to all the nuances of his little ways. But time marches on and he is in a big hurry to get big. For now I will have to imagine that the morning drive to school is a time machine that does not go into the future or the past, but freezes in the present.
