Ian Gets Glasses
April 22, 2004After scolding Ian for months about sitting too close to the TV and spending hours trying to teach him to catch a pop fly, only to watch it go straight over his head, we finally got his vision checked yesterday. It turns out that he has 20/100 vision and has for some time! Who knew? Catherine and I have never had any vision problems, so it never occured to us that our kids might.

At any rate, he is very proud of his new glasses and very excited about being able to see again. The first thing he said to his mom on the way home was "I can see the leaves on trees again!" Doesn't he look sweet?
