Minute to Minute
March 11, 2004Sometimes I feel like time is moving so fast, my boys are growing up in front of my very eyes, I'm getting older, the idealism I had in youth is fading fast and being replaced by a dull wariness of life. I'm on a mission to exorcise my cynicism and rediscover what it means to be living for every minute regardless of the outcome. In my quest to do this, I'm using the camera as a tool to capture everyday moments as a concrete reminder of what my own eyes seem to miss as they are happening in realtime.

Above is the same view I have every morning on the way to work as I'm sitting at the stop light at North Druid Hills and Buford Highway.

Above is a song that Ian has been working on. I found it on the floorboard of my car this morning when I was cleaning up. He blows my mind --- his wisdom and depth leave me in awe of the universe. He absorbs everything, processes it and comes back with this amazing perspective on life that is way beyond his seven years.
